중신브라더스 구단 성명

중신 브라더스 구단은 쉬지린(徐基麟) 선수의 음주운전 및 사실 은폐 사건과 관련하여 다음과 같이 엄중한 성명을 발표합니다.


​쉬지린 선수는 민국 114년(2025년) 9월 14일 음주운전 단독 사고를 일으켜 차량이 전복되고 부상을 입었습니다. 사고 발생 당시 쉬지린 선수는 구단에 이 사실을 숨기고 보고하지 않았으나, 법원의 판결문이 공개됨에 따라 그의 중대한 위법 및 규정 위반 행위가 드러나게 되었습니다.


​음주운전 행위는 사회 안전을 심각하게 위협하는 일이며, 사건 이후 이를 은폐한 정황 또한 매우 중대합니다. 이에 중신 브라더스 구단은 대만 프로야구 리그(CPBL) 규정 및 선수 계약에 의거하여, 금일부로 쉬지린 선수를 즉각 제명(방출)하고 계약 관계를 종료하기로 결정하였습니다. 아울러 계약에 의거하여 중대한 계약 위반에 따른 손해배상 책임을 추궁할 예정입니다.
